Meet Our Staff
Shannon’s career in dentistry began in 1985. She has been with our practice since 1993. She is an excellent surgical assistant. Shannon has extensive knowledge of general dentistry and periodontics. Her expertise lies in communication and her compassionate ability to assist patients comfortably through their course of treatment. If you ever have questions about a procedure, then don’t hesitate to ask Shannon because she has had a lot of periodontal procedures performed on herself by Dr. Orth! Shannon resides in Murphy with her husband, David and puppy dog, Sophie. She enjoys reading, movies, and caring for her family.
Angie has worked at the front desk at Dr. Orth’s office since 2008. She will not only help you schedule your appointments, but she also helps patients with their insurance and financial needs. She loves helping people and has enjoyed being in dentistry for over 20 years. She has a wide range of experience in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and now periodontics. She loves traveling with friends, shopping, and decorating. She loves spending her time with her kids and her sweet dog, Toby.
Carree has been in the specialized field of dentistry since 1998 and has worked in Dr. Orth’s practice since 2014. She is an administrative assistant, skilled hygiene coordinator, and licensed registered dental assistant. Her passion and knowledge of dentistry show in her daily conversations with patients by helping them feel more comfortable and informed about their procedures. When Carree is not at work, she spends her time with her son, Rylee, her English bulldog, Prince Fielder, and cat, Dez. She is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Courtney has been with our practice since 2019. She started her career in dentistry in 2016 as an assistant in a cosmetic dentistry practice and wanted something with more of a challenge to expand her skills. Which brought her to our practice in 2019. She has flourished into a wonderful surgical assistant. Courtney is a Wylie native; she enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith, and the newest member of their family, baby girl Kinley!
Tami joins our team with the same energy and passion she has possessed as a dental hygienist for the past 30 years, accompanied by extensive experience as a periodontal hygienist. She is accustomed to communicating with her patient’s general dentists to ensure that they receive the most comprehensive dental care possible. She is a wealth of information with home care suggestions and truly enjoys getting to know her patients and building friendships with them in a comfortable and caring environment. Your optimum periodontal health is her primary goal. We are a truly fortunate team! Tami lives in Frisco. She enjoys spending time with her daughter’s families, which includes four grandchildren. She loves the beach, the Longhorns, and her church.
